I’m bored.

Yep, you read it right, I am indeed BORED. I wanted to watch the next episode of season seven of The X-Files (“Via Negativa”) but for some reason, my laptop wouldn’t play it. Kept making a really weird noises. It played it before because I watched it on here before and the other episodes on the disc worked?

Anyways.

Work again tomorrow, I wonder what fun things I’ll be given to do to pass my five hours. Hmm…

A little while ago, Chris bought loads of games and most of the characters in all of the games have been in Project Zero 3, Grim and Evil, Dexter’s Lab, Ben 10, Xensaga, Dark Cloud 2… lol it’s really weird. The guy who played Kei in PZ3 is in an episode of Bones called “The Superhero in the Alley”. Chris wants to watch that one episode to see him. lol.

My nose is really tingling, hope I’m not getting a cold. I had porridge earlier and it’s burnt my tongue

Sooo, a mixture of things this afternoon.

Last night:

Right now: watching my Bones DVD – Boreanaz = <3

45 minutes ago – was informed that I start my new job on Monday!

First of, last night was the Golden Globes and the gorgeous Christina Aguilera and Cher presented an award and she looked stunning. They admitted that they were there to promote Burlesque On my laptop in the front room but we couldn't get the wireless to work so I'm plugged in with the ethernet. It's kinda annoying cos I missed most of the golden globes last night! Think I missed Christina by about half an hour or something. Ah well, saw the video of her and Cher presenting the two awards so meh.

Onto Bones now and it's my dvDVD. Tis the pilot episode. He still has Angel's habits which he mostly manages to shake off later on in the series. Ok, now it's the second episode; "The Man in the SUV". Haven't seen this one so I'll shall wait and watch…. yeah.

New job on Monday ~ don't know anything about it atm but they're gonna send me an email.

Don't really have much else to say now and Rio is being annnnooooooooyyyyyyyiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnngggggggg.

Was it really Christmas?

It honestly doesn’t feel like it! Even yesterday I didn’t even feel Christmassy AT ALL. I got some good stuff though:

I had asked for Bones, Absynthe and the earphones. Everything else was a surprise So I woke up at seven and waited for someone to come to wake us up. After half an hour, no one did so I went to go and wake Daniel and Charlie up. Made our way downstairs and then opened the presents. At about 12, we went to Nan and Grandad’s and had a sing song until about 2. Then we went to the pub where the wine tasted like metal and the lime, lemonade and vodka tasted like lime and sugar and the actual pub in which was full of losers and weirdos from the Stanhope days (not including Malcolm, Henry and Ian). We left there at about 3 and come home. Waited for a bit for dinner (we didn’t bother with roast turkey – no one eats it). We put on mum’s new Willl Young greatest hits CD/DVD (I’m going to steal it mwahahaha) whilst dinner was being eaten then after dinner, I cleared the table and went to Chris’s where we watched Doctor Who (I miss him already and he hasn’t even gone yet ) and then I watched Corrie (I fell asleep at the beginning and woke up at the end) then Eastenders then The Royle Family (which was hilarious in parts because some of it rang so true) then watched Catherine Tate and fell asleep again. All in all, it was a quiet day. Interesting to see some old faces from the past but it wasn’t a Christmas that’ll particularly stand out

Today, we went to Croydon and then Sutton (which was more or less closed when we got there). I just know that I’ve eaten waaaaaaaaaay too much. I dunno what else to say now lol.

Is it though?

“Is Selsey full of old people?” is what some bright spark searched for and came across my blog. In answer to your question, no it’s not. There are a few (obviously as it’s a seaside town) but it’s mostly old sailors and a scattering of Sussex-born chavs (not including the ones that frequent West Sands whom mostly come from Portsmouth).

Now after watching a half naked Boreanaz on Facebook, I seem to have lost my train of thought *scratches head*. Oh gosh, too many half naked gorgeous FBI agents this week. First Mulder and Scully (and more to come) and now Special Agent Seeley Booth. Oh, one thing that did annoy me though was that apparently, Booth tells Bones in the pilot episode that he and her are Mulder and Scully… Um. No. They will NEVER be Mulder and Scully (as gorgeous as Booth and Brennan are – Mulder would kick Booth’s arse ). Yes, I know I’m reading too much into it but it bugged me. Sigh. Their “will they, won’t they” thing gets on my nerves too; it’s so forced an unnatural. Fox and Dana have a lot to answer for. They took seven years to actually fall in love and Booth and Bones took three or four? It’s so stupid. Although I LOVE the fact that David Duchovny (or Double D as Martin used to call him) directed an episode called “The Judas on The Pole” and there’s an episode coming up called “The X in The File”.

Now on Season Five of the Eccy Files. God, I love that show. Actually watching all the bonus stuff this time around though, last time I just watched through the DVD’s. Gonna watch the first movie when I get to the end of Season Five because that’s when it’s set. Yes. Gonna do a big X-Files entry when I’ve watched them all and do mini reviews of my favourite and most disliked episodes (there are a few believe it or not; “Space” being one of them *shudder*). Gonna include the list of the ones I remember from when I was little and couldn’t read properly.

Don’t have much else to say now. I straightened up the mini fire optic xmas tree which my mum wanted to put in the conservatory. Prolly gonna get the tree and tinsel down tomorrow! Feel a little excitement for xmas now, not much though. Guess that’s what happens when you get older They say that the magic comes back when you have kids because you see it through their eyes Guess the magic of xmas has gone forever for me then.
