And I didn’t do that before because…

Ok, I didn’t know you could until I created a test blog for *someone’s logo I made.

Feeling really tired still. Didn’t get much sleep night before last (if you had been reading this blog before, you’d know about my DSPS) and I’m still tired! So after yesterday’s mega update about Aquarian’s and how it’s the month of the Aquarian (good luck!), I don’t have a lot to say.

Amanda’s party on Saturday – really looking forward to it. Been far too long since I last saw her. Think it was in August or something! Still haven’t had an email from that place so I’ll probably have to end up ringing them. So not prepared lol. Still need to find the clothes I’m gonna wear. Added: Just rung them to ask for an email so she’s gonna send me one. How annoying!

The Job Centre have rung me three times now to ask me what I’ll be doing. *Sigh*.

Just said that winter is passing really quickly this year! Only two more months until spring! Of course, that also means that it’s my birthday soon too.

Paid my Orange bill and they haven’t switched my signal back on yet. Why can’t anybody do anything anymore? So the mood I’m in today is frustrated. Yes.

Laptop update:
Same as before, a bit slow in parts but running A LOT faster than it was when I first got it back. So glad I finally got off my bum and got it fixed. Why the eff did I wait that long? See, I have a real problem with motivation and actually doing things.

Went to Sutton yesterday and when I went to the interiors section of Wilkinsons, I just felt at home. It just seems natural to be around wallpaper, furniture and cushions. I still want to be an interior designer, that hasn’t left me and I haven’t changed my mind. I told Chris yesterday that our house is gonna be beautiful because I’m going to design it It’s gonna have a mix of stuff in it; old fashioned Victorian/Edwardian with a modern twist. Think the dining room has to be a gothic affair! There’s loads of stuff from Alchemy Gothic that we want, namely this:

I think it’s beautiful! When me and Chris first got together, we were looking through some Alchemy Gothic catalogues and that was the first thing he said he liked and I loved it when I first saw it. It’s expensive though! On average, it’s about £130!

Wrote a lot for Danzatore the other night. Actually wrote another huge milestone in it. The rest of the story needs some work though; needs a lot of filler! It’s 102 pages at the moment and 60.5k words! Good, huh? Have a good feeling about this one too. I never finished Iris but one day I will. I see promise in that one too. Think I might plan the rest of it because I was just writing that one by ear!

My leg is going to sleep.

Well, that was an adventure…

So last night, it started to snow. It hasn’t stopped. When I woke up at 8:30 when Martin rang me for seemingly no reason, the snow had seemed to have stopped. When Chris woke me up later on however, it had started again but rather lightly and as the day wore on, it got heavier. I had to go to the job centre today and when we got to Sutton, it was really coming down! 30 minutes later, we were getting on the bus. This is where the fun starts!

Getting through Sutton wasn’t so bad until we got to the foot of Ringstead Road which is basically a big hill. As the snow was getting heavier, the road was getting more and more covered in snow. The driver obviously thought that he was gonna have a go at getting up the hill and boy, did he try! We started slowly and carefully, obviously trying to keep the bus on a straight course. Then the engine started roaring. Every few inches or so, you felt the bus slide back slightly, which is what they’re built to do. The engine got louder and you could hear the bus groaning as the driver pushed it up the hill. Then came the smell of burning rubber and the sound of the wheels spinning in the snow. The passengers (including me and Chris) were laughing and giving the bus encouragement! That’s us Brits for you, always banding together in a crisis About half way up, we stopped to let some people off, then we started making our ascent once again. Martin rang me and said that Steph was on the bus behind us which was now at the foot of the hill. With some correspondence back and forth and to home, it turns out that the other driver wasn’t going to risk it and abandoned ship. I rang Steph and she said she was making her way up the hill to wait for another bus. There were two cars and another bus were waiting at the top for us. At one point, I didn’t think we were gonna make it! We stopped for a couple of minutes at the top, seemingly so the bus could get it’s breath back. After around ten or fifteen minutes, we made it and made our way slowly towards the junction. An American had come to sit next to us and he said, “well, that was fun, I feel like we should all be clapping now!”

The rest of the journey wasn’t so bad if slow. The Carshalton Park Road hill wasn’t so bad and when we got to our stop, a few people got off the bus with cries of thank you and well done to the driver!

Got home, relayed our adventure and then we went out to feed the bunneh’s. The hutches are cosy! They had a sheet covering the fronts and a sheet of silver insulation stuff covering the top, back and sides. Plus, the snow on top would be keeping them warm too. It looks like the snow is moving away from us now but I’ve heard that there’s more on the way. Still, this is nothing compared to Denmark! They are literally snowed in! Haha!

Anyways, I might add more later!

Was it really Christmas?

It honestly doesn’t feel like it! Even yesterday I didn’t even feel Christmassy AT ALL. I got some good stuff though:

I had asked for Bones, Absynthe and the earphones. Everything else was a surprise So I woke up at seven and waited for someone to come to wake us up. After half an hour, no one did so I went to go and wake Daniel and Charlie up. Made our way downstairs and then opened the presents. At about 12, we went to Nan and Grandad’s and had a sing song until about 2. Then we went to the pub where the wine tasted like metal and the lime, lemonade and vodka tasted like lime and sugar and the actual pub in which was full of losers and weirdos from the Stanhope days (not including Malcolm, Henry and Ian). We left there at about 3 and come home. Waited for a bit for dinner (we didn’t bother with roast turkey – no one eats it). We put on mum’s new Willl Young greatest hits CD/DVD (I’m going to steal it mwahahaha) whilst dinner was being eaten then after dinner, I cleared the table and went to Chris’s where we watched Doctor Who (I miss him already and he hasn’t even gone yet ) and then I watched Corrie (I fell asleep at the beginning and woke up at the end) then Eastenders then The Royle Family (which was hilarious in parts because some of it rang so true) then watched Catherine Tate and fell asleep again. All in all, it was a quiet day. Interesting to see some old faces from the past but it wasn’t a Christmas that’ll particularly stand out

Today, we went to Croydon and then Sutton (which was more or less closed when we got there). I just know that I’ve eaten waaaaaaaaaay too much. I dunno what else to say now lol.

Oh, PhoneShop is about to start so I hope you’re going to watch it and shout, “IT’S SUTTON!!!!” at the screen =) If you don’t watch it, I’m sure they’ll have it on 4OD in the next couple of days.

IT’S SUTTONNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omfg, it’s so weird seeing it on tv! Aww, I’ve been in that shop. Loads of street shots of Sutton but no me and Chris walking past =( Tbh, there was more chance of my dad walking past than us! The people in the shop definitely looked like they would come from Sutton! I hope they do a series cos then it’d be more of my corner of the world on tv =)

It was pretty funny actually! I’m not biased though, honest! I want to ask Martin if that’s what it’s really like working in a phone shop! Lol!

The logo did suspiciously look like the old Zavvi logo though. I think that was probably an influence!

Just read on DigitalSpy that a series has been commissioned? I hope they film the series in Sutton =) Walked past it on Wednesday and it was still empty (basically as it was on the show but without the “PhoneShop” logo) and has the posters on the windows but on the outside, they’re adverts for the Costas next door! =D I said that for half an hour on Friday, Sutton high street will be famous! Hahaha!
